What are stock images?

Stock images are images that are available from stock photography companies (for example, ShutterStock, Alamy, 123RF, etc.). Stock images are tagged and are filterable in the TinEye search results. This allows you to easily find out if the image you are searching for is a stock photograph, who holds the copyright to the image and how to license it.
